Lollipop Ugrade Firmware for Asus Zenfone 4 [A400CG (4”) || A450CG (4,5”)]

Before upgrading the system manually, make sure you know the model number or SKU(Stock Keeping Unit). Note also the version of the software/system when it was used.

How to find out very easily :

Go to Settings - About then see the " Model number"

As an example for Zenfone 4 A400CG be written ASUS_T00.

To determine the version of the software, go to Settings - About - Software information

Then refer to the " Build number"

For example, writing ASUS_Z007_WW_user_4.11.40.119

Attention .. !

In terms of system upgrades, the SKU code in the same firmware must

with SKU code in the handset. If not then

most likely upgrade process will result in a fatal error.

WW = WorldWide (outstanding for global of product)

CN = China (outstanding products in China/Tiongkok) only

TW = Taiwan (outstanding products in Taiwan only).

How to Manually Update from Kitkat to Lollipop:

1.    Download the firmware from here.

2.    Transfer the download file to your device storage and put the file directly in the Root Directory (not in a folder).

if your handset is encrypted, please decryption / reset prior to the update.

3.    After the file transfer is usually on the screen appears notification update. 

    If not, turn off the handset and make sure the battery capacity is at least 50%,

    or you can connect the charger.

Restart the handset and wait for the process and the update is complete.
